This video is only going to be online for the weekend, then I’m pulling it down.
If you’re one of the few who got to see it here, then you saw it first. Congrats.
Now, your job is to let me know your thoughts on the video. I’m learning new things for ‘montages’ - which I have stated serveral times I am not good at - and I’d like to know what you guys think. So post a comment of the video, hit me up on twitter (@EYSGAMERS) or leave a comment here. I don’t care, I would just like some feedback on this video.
Thanks.

Talking about the RD3 of the 2012 AMA Supercross series. Race was a good one, with some action at the start then kinda died off. But considering we were expecting a mud race I thought it went well. I’m not happy with Stewart for taking out Jake Weimer, but what can you do? Move on and hope Weimer just gets better, thats what.
I didn’t get to watch the 250 race because it didn’t air on tv until Monday morning. This video was late being posted due to my local CBS not airing the race. We sent in a bunch of nasty letters and they say they will reair it, but we all went to youtube. *idiots*
Thats it, watch the video.

Yes! The 2012 Supercross season is here! And I am going to talk about it!
This video was kind of rushed, and I think you can tell that by the flow of it. As it is really the first ‘recap’ video I expected that. I’m going to do a little more research before I start recording next week’s ‘let’s talk’ video. Hopefully it will turn out better.
In this video I talk about James Stewart not finishing inside the top 3 in the series points. I mean no disrespect to JS7 with that statement; I’m just looking at results and giving my opinion. I know JS7 has the speed to win, and he will win races. But I think McGraths record is safe. The talent level is just far to deep for him to grab that record. Now, if he could stay off the ground that would be a completely different story, but JS7 has always been checkers or wreckers and that trend continues in 2012.
Ryan Dungey grabbed his first win on the new KTM 450SXF, which was KTM’s first win in the AMA 450 class. Congrats to them, they have worked hard to get that and I’m glad they did. In my first video I said I did not think Dungey would win a race, and he proved me wrong. Which is a good thing; I wish the guy the best. I just wasn’t sure about that bike, but RD5 has shown that KTM is really investing into a great machine and team.
Trey Canard is looking really good. I was hoping he’d be right back where he was a year ago. I like that we are seeing a mature TC41 this year, I want to see this guy stay off the ground and make it the next 16 races. That would be a very large accomplishment (in my opinion) for TC41. Ryan Villopoto had this same problem his first year in the 450 class and now he is THE guy. I’m hoping TC41 can follow in that same pattern and be that guy next year. Just get thru this season and be healthy for next year.
Andrew Short is looking fantastic back on that Honda 450. I am so happy to see AS29 smiling and laughing again. Not thatAS29 wasn’t happy with KTM, but he did seem much more serious and stressed. And with that 100cc of added power is wholeshots! I think AS29 has pulled 2 wholeshots already, I love it! AS29 is looking really good this year.
Chad Reed started off this year better than last year. But he seemed to struggle a little at RD2.He just missed the podium, but did manage to pass TC41 & AS29 on the last lap. I’ve been impressed with CR22 this year. The bike looks amazing, the team looks good, and they have the tools to win. So we’ll see how they do this year.
Ryan Villopoto is the man this year, he has left no doubt about that. The guy is riding solid, even with people crashing around him, he is riding good. I would be very surprised, no, I would be shocked if he doesn’t win the title. I don’t have much else to say about him, he is on point.
Jake Weimer was my sleeper pick for the season and I’m glad to see him riding good. He won his first heat race at RD2, and then carried that over to a 2nd place finish in the main event. I love watching this guy ride, and I’m really happy to see him finally getting some good results in the 450 class. He has earned it.
Last thing, this year is super stacked. Each heat race has so many fast riders not making the main event. It is really amazing to see such deep talent in the main events.

Now before the BF3 hardcore elite go off on me as a booster\cheater whatever, I’m going to say that I do not care. :) 64 player Metro meatgrinder is so much fun, I was laughing and thoroughly enjoying myself while recording this video. And that is what playing video games is about. So if you don’t like this video, don’t watch it, don’t hate on it, just move on. Its meant to be funny, though it is a great way to level up and unlock weapons. hehe
Enjoy!

I’ve been having a hard time lately getting good content recorded. I’m still playing games, just not recording anything good. I have a couple projects that need to be finished, 1st up is a BF3 commentary about PTFO. Which I hope will turn out well. 2nd is a video for VMG. I really would like to do a montage edit of MvA untamed, Reflex, & Alive. I just have to get another copy of untamed.
Yeah, thats about all. Just want to keep this thing going. I’m having fun.

I love thee, and hate thee.
I have made the move from my xbox 360 to the pc for playing Battlefield 3, and at first it was amazing. The graphics are beautiful, the higher frame rate, it is overall a very smooth running game on the PC. I do not miss the xbox version of the game at all. Yet! The same annoying things happen on the pc version. Which now leads me to believe that my problem with the game isn’t 100% the game, it has a lot to do with the players. I mean, camp, camp, camp!!
Now, I am aware that this was a problem in BFBC2 and I’m not trying to sound like those players that think BFBC2 was the best ever. Because it was full of problems! I just find it very odd that the majority of the problems with BFBC2 are again present in BF3. Maybe its game flaws? I honestly do not know.
By far the biggest problem with the game in my eyes is maps. In a way they created these problems by their map design. You can really see the Call of Duty map design attempts in BF3. And I wish that DICE would have just stayed away from that all together. Let CoD be its own thing, and Battlefield its own. Case your own shadow, you’ve got such a great base game that you do not need to look to CoD for ideas. The only thing they should have in common is their genre.
I’m thinking about making a video talking about all of my ideas for the game, but as I start to write them out and ponder them into a solid critique, I realize that my standards are far too high. And if DICE put half of my ‘ideas’ into the game, no one would play it. Here is small, but perfect example of that.
In co-op and single player for Battlefield 3 when you enter or exit a vehicle there is an animation of you climbing into the tank, or opening the door to the humvee. This also happens when you’re in a vehicle changing seats. You don’t just magically appear in the next seat. Your character actually moves to that seat. I love that!
Yet, in the multiplayer you just ‘suck’ into the seat and flash to the next seat. These are things that bother me.
One more, since Battlefield 1943 (as far as I know) there has been the dynamic of squads within each team. Allowing players of 4 to ‘squad up’ and spawn on each other. Creating ‘mobile spawns’ for the first time in the battlefield series. The biggest problem with these is your teammates can just pop out of your ass at anytime. There is no time at which you cannot spawn on a teammate that is ‘alive’ on the map. Halo 3 had a very similar spawn mechanic for their coop mode, but the one difference was you could not spawn on your teammate if he was under fire or the ‘area was not safe’. I love this!!! I wish DICE would have taken note of it. It balances that power of the squad. It has been a problem in battlefield for 3 games, and still no talk of even addressing it. It is a shame.
I love this series and I do enjoy playing it. But I won’t be putting in hundreds of hours into BF3 like I did BFBC2. And that is very unfortunate for DICE.

The youtube channel is growing! Today we hit 120 subs and currently have 14,810 total views. Some of the videos don’t get the views that I’d like to see, but that might come with time. I can’t really dial in what content the masses want to see. It really seems to jump around based off of who ‘likes’ the video. Thus far our best video has been a MW3 achievement guide video, racking in 1411 views as of posting this. Funny thing is, the second most viewed video on EYSGAMERS is one of the first videos I uploaded (2nd one I think), and that has 1,331. Third place belongs to another achievement guide video, this time for BF3 and it has 871 views.
So it just goes to show that the top 3 videos don’t help me narrow in what content to focus on. Since they are all different, only common thing about 2 of them is that they are achievement guides. We have more of those coming, but I don’t want the channel to be 100% guides. Achievement hunters does a great job with guides, no need to repeat what they do.

MXSIM is such a fun game when you’re getting better and learning how to play it. It is super frustrating, and downright enraging when you can’t even go in a straight line. But time after time I find myself going back to this game. Its been super cold in Idaho lately and I have not been able to ride my bike for some time now and MXSIM is what is keeping me sane (in regards to motocross sanity). JLV (the creator of MXSIM) just recently released the new 1.6 update which gives us 450s. So I thought it would be fun to run some laps with the 450, then go back and run laps on the 125 and see how the lap times were. The end result? Well you’re just gonna have to watch the video to see that, but some things that I noticed were;
1. My corner spend on the 125 was much faster than the 450
2. My speed and smoothness thru the whoops was much better on the 125
3. I barley shifted on the 450
4. My throttle control seemed much better on the 450
5. I carried way more momentum with the 125
If you have ever rode both of those bikes in real life, that list is probably a ‘duh’. But I found it impressive that the game had these same attributes. I just need to update the 450 bike skin now. :)

I love flying the air vehicles in Battlefield. At one point I was in a clan just to fly the black hawk chopper for a team of guys (back in the 1942 days). I loved it, there was something great about taking a group of guys to the fight. I haven’t had much time in the air vehicles in BF3 so I started looking for empty servers where I could practice. I’m getting a little better, and still need some more practice, but I love that this is an option. The game really needs to have a vehicle training area. A place like this where you can go and practice on the full maps (scoring disabled of course) so players don’t have to learn on the battlefield. It would be really awesome if there were some AI bots to give you some target practice. I may be dreaming here, but there are few things more frustrating in Battlefield than jumping into the gunner seat only to realize you made a terrible mistake because your pilot has never flown before and he just wanted to taxi it.
